I know there are some sights for football and baseball is there any for racing?
I don’t think any other auto racing movie comes close to this classic.
I know racing is a time-honored pastime for spectators and gamblers. But what makes it interesting to you? As an outside observer I see people staring at cars going around and around a crowded little track on TV and I wonder, "how can this be interesting?" Yet obviously it captures the attention of millions of my countrymen.
So I am curious. What hooked you? Why do you care who wins a race? Is there a dramatic back story to your favorite driver that found its way into your heart?
Also, do different things happen in races that vary the action up and make it interesting? All I can think of is: a) Someone passes someone else, b) Someone drops out of the race due to technical difficulties, or c) Someone crashes. Is there more to the in-race action? What dynamics am I missing? Is what happens off the track (between races) more interesting than what happens on the track? Is that where the drama that keeps you interested occurs? I love car i love racing and thats all i ever think about i just wanted to no how a would get sponserd . The racing im talking about is like nascar and f1 but the cars are like bmws aduis porsches subarus. Thanks for all the help
The cars like bmws and mustangs. I love cars and racing. Where would i goto sign up for races. How would i get sponcers. Kinda like nascar but car you see on the streets. Serious anwsers please and thanks
Where can i go to help start a future racing career. Love racing since I was 5. Major talent and could make it if given the opertunity. I am 13.
I am 18 years old and I am interested in getting involved in auto racing. Specifically in either SCCA or Rally Racing. I have always had an extreme interest in these styles of racing but not sure how to get started.
We have been racing go karts for several years, and are moving to Dwarf cars. In the past, we have not been able to offer sponsers a legitimate write off due to the fact that we were hobby racing and not getting paid. With Dwarf cars, there is a payout. We know we should be able to form a business to be able to offer sponsors a write off for their contributions as advertising, and write off our racing expenses. Does anyone out there have any experience with this sort of thing? In case it makes a difference, we are in California.
I work at a kart place and I can get AFX helmets for around 70$, but they aren’t Snell spec. (unless I want to pay another ). Is it required to have a Snell spec. helmet for Rotax karting? GT/SCCA auto racing? What other brands are there that are relatively inexpensive? Any suggestions?
